St. Wendelin Folklore House With Relief

The once richest livestock farmer in the region built one of the oldest houses in Zsámbék, the St. Wendelin building with relief, in around 1740.

The name of the monument came from the large relief depicting the patron saint of shepherds, St. Wendelin, on the facade. On the inside special, hand-painted furniture, ceramics and utensils evoke Swab folk art and the everyday life of Zsámbék at the time.

The monument can be visited by prior appointment.
