The grave of Lieutenant Zoltán Árvay and his comrades is located between the Valley Path and the Cemetery Path.
Five bodies lie in the grave, those of the lieutenant, three of his loyal soldiers and an unknown Hungarian nurse. Lieutenant Árvay and his men – on the side of the German and Hungarian troops preparing to break out of the Soviet ring surrounding Budapest – got into a firefight with the Soviets on the vineyards of Tök, in front of Nyakas summit, at dawn on 14 February 1945. Around 5,000 of the troops breaking out attacked the Tinnye/ Budajenő/ Biatorbágy line, roughly 3,000 of them fell on the territory between Zsámbék and Tinnye.
The Soviet frontline stretched out barely 100 meters from Lieutenant Árvay and his soldiers on Nyakas-hegy (Nyakas Hill); if they had managed to cross this line they would have reached their own forces. Their lives were extinguished by the Soviets.
