The main source of income in villages in the hilly and mountainous regions of Pilis and Vác was provided by viticulture.
One smaller section of vineyards on the territory of Jenő formed part of the manor estate, another was in the hands of private farmers, while the third and largest part was the so-called priests’ vineyard. The line of cellars on the main road, which were built between 1829 and 1866, constitute one of the sights in the settlement.
