The main source of income in villages in the hilly and mountainous regions of Pilis and Vác was provided by viticulture.
One smaller section of vineyards on the territory of Jenő formed part of the manor estate, another was in the hands of private farmers, while the third and largest part was the so-called priests’ vineyard.
