The well is located in the nineteenth century. Originally was built in neoclassical style.
The Hungarian-wells was used for drinking water for people and animals. The grazing animals steer Hungary Fountain was an everyday activity. The women liked to have been washed in the laundry. The children found their game at the well, while adults work was done, they ordered the water.
After more than 30 years in the 1990s took place in the well and surrounding areas to restore.
Came back to the statue of St. John of Nepomuk, it was also put in deportation memorial. Védett természeti érték, egyedülálló forrásfoglalással. Ilyen műemléki értékű, egyedülálló karakterű építészeti környezettel kevés forrás rendelkezik Magyarországon.
