The roadside crosses were usually erected through individual commitments or gratitude, while at the same time they often document the scene of accidents.
Institutions, bodies or religious people also declared their religious zeal by erecting crosses.
Many such crucifixes can be found in Perbál and on the side of the roads leading into Perbál. Most of the renovated crosses were installed in residential areas following restoration.
There are five such crosses at different points of the settlement today. One is opposite the church, one at the end of Petőfi utca, and one cross was placed in the parish garden.
Similar crosses can be seen on Fő utca (Main Street), one in front of number 35 and one next to number 64. Others are also located on the side of the road leading to Budajenő and Tinnye.
