The former Swab settlement with many places of interest conceals an atmospheric street.
One of the most special buildings on Kossuth utca is the peasant Baroque style Swabian house. Locals refer to the building as the sundial house, which took its name from the sundial that used to be on the facade.
The date 1822 can be seen on one of the houses on Fő utca (Main Street), i.e. this part of the village is more than 200 years old.
The signboard probably returned to the Walter restaurant building – although the building does not display the year – after 65 years when its doors were presumably reopened.
When taking a walk it is worth dropping by Deák Ferenc and Akácfa utcát as well. The old cellars are lined up in these well-maintained, tidy streets. The majority of decorative structures are still used to store wine today.
