The most significant green area in Herceghalom is constituted by the Woods – with their outstandingly valuable stock of trees.
We can say without exaggeration that this patch of forest makes a large contribution to the microclimate and unique atmosphere of the settlement. A highly valuable Turkish hazelnut tree-lined avenue can be found here.
This was transformed into a recreational park in autumn 2008, benches were installed, walking trails were developed and the territory was made transparent by thinning out the undergrowth.
