The Cultural Center built in neo-eclectic style in 1932 is a defining building in Kútvölgy (Valley of the Wells).
A 1st World War relief by Ferenc Medgyessy I can be seen on the facade. The creator of the 2nd World War memorial in front of the building is
Miklós Melocco.
The memorial library named after the famous poet began operations in the Cultural Center, which is attached to the Petőfi Memorial Library Movement. The Petőfi portrait near the entrance was created by Miklós Borsos and was inaugurated on the 150th anniversary of the poet’s birth, in 1973. The library has since moved into the primary school that operates in the adjacent building, but the relief remained in its original location.
