Gesztenyés (“Chestnut”) Park

The redeveloped park is one of the most important points of the settlement because of its central location – it is definitely worth taking a walk here.

The park was designed in the 70s by Zsolt Árkosi, but the appearance of today’s design can be attributed to Zoltán Nemes, qualified garden and landscape architect, landscape and environmental engineer. With the redevelopment the park was given new pavements, street furniture and decorative lighting – in the spirit of modernization. At the same time, it was important to protect existing values, special mention should be made of the line of old pine trees here.
